PEARL-DNA coordinator at the EIC-EuroTech workshop on Sustainable Electronics
On 15 October 2024, BioSistemika, the coordinator of the PEARL-DNA project, took part in the “Novel Devices” pitch session at the Sustainable Electronics workshop. This event, held at the European Commission’s CDMA building in Brussels, was organised by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the EuroTech Universities Alliance. It brought together policymakers, researchers, innovators, and businesses, both small and large, to discuss new ideas for sustainable electronics.
BioSistemika’s pitch session by Tomaž Karčnik provided an excellent chance to showcase innovative solutions from the DATANA and PEARL-DNA projects to investors and industry leaders, gaining valuable feedback from experts and potential partners.
The workshop was part of a week-long exhibition with various models, devices, and research posters on display at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. This exhibition featured contributions from EuroTech universities, EIC-funded projects, and start-ups, demonstrating Europe’s progress in sustainable technology.
