Keynote Spotlight: High-Throughput Technologies by Jan Voges at CIMA
On 8 November 2024, Jan Voges, a partner in the PEARL-DNA project, delivered a keynote lecture at Cima Universidad de Navarra in Spain. This presentation was part of the Computational Biology and Translational Genomics programme’s lecture series.
In his lecture, titled “High-Throughput Technologies in DNA Data Storage, Precision Medicine for Depression, and Metabolic Profiling”, Jan explained how high-throughput technologies are influencing three distinct areas:
- DNA Data Storage, with examples from the PEARL-DNA project;
- Precision Medicine for Depression, demonstrated through the P4D initiative; and
- The integration of scRNA-seq data with metabolomics.
Approximately 50 attendees participated in the 45-minute session, which presented an overview of cutting-edge advancements in these areas.
