The PEARL-DNA project is officially kicked-off! The PEARL-DNA consortium gets together for a 2-day in-person meeting hosted by project coordinator BioSistemika in Ljubljana, Slovenia to kickstart the collaboration towards the future of DNA-based digital data storage.
Join us at the upcoming Advanced Inkjet Technology (AIT) conference where two of our PEARL-DNA partners, BioSistemika and HES-SO (iPrint), will present their current research. The conference will take place on January 29-31, 2024, in Fribourg, Switzerland. Please consider joining us in person or online.
On March 11, 2024, the PEARL-DNA coordinator, BioSistemika, will participate in the EESTEC JobFair 2024 with a presentation booth. This annual event, organised by the Association of electrical engineering and computer science students, takes place in Ljubljana to foster cooperation between students and companies.

BioSistemika, the coordinator of PEARL-DNA, will join analytica 2024 - the world’s leading trade fair for the laboratory sector. BioSistemika will welcome all interested participants to its exhibition booth to showcase its core technological solutions in software development and laboratory digitalisation.
The second General Assembly meeting of all consortium members will take place online on April 17, 2024. The main goal of this event is to provide updates for each of the working packages and discuss project progress.
On April 25, 2024, Leibniz University Hannover, a partner of PEARL-DNA, will open its doors for Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day. During this annual event, children ages 11 to 15 will have the opportunity to explore professions in the fields of technology, IT and natural sciences.
On 15 May 2024, BioSistemika will participate in the BioFair, the largest career event for life sciences students in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event will attract hundreds of STEM students interested in building their careers in the biotechnology industry and lab digitalisation. BioSistemika team will participate with a company stand and career interview sessions.
